It was hot, but DRY both days this weekend. We did not get any measurable rain. In fact two targets that we left out over night looked just as good as we left them on Saturday. We still had a good turnout, 44 shooters and 8 reshoots for a total of 52 guns. Thanks very much to all who helped to set up and tear down.

We had three new shooters this month, Cindy Michali, Dan Johnson and Mark Ratcliff.

Our next match will be on Sunday, July10th at Crooked Creek in Hartsgrove. Crooked Creek Conservation Club is holding the annual Steak Roast on Saturday, July 9th starting at 5:00 PM. Read the details below, but this might be a good excuse to bring the family out to the range. So that we finish in time to get to the Steak Roast, we'll start setup at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 9th and you can shoot one gun afterwards. Jeff Whitaker is designing this match, so come on out and give him a hand setting it up. Signups for Sunday start at 8:00 AM with final registration at 1:00 PM.

Details on the STEAK ROAST: Saturday July 9th is the date for our Steak Dinner with all the extras for $18.00. Club members will be preparing the dinner (no caterer) and they promise a good one, with a 12oz. New York Strip steak. Serving from 5:00-6:30 PM. Please bring your own place setting and beverage. Come join your friends and make new ones at the club. There will be games for the young folks at 3:00 P.M. and Hay Rides. There will be a Bon Fire and Wiener Roast on Saturday evening. Guests are welcome, at the same cost. Reservations must be made in advance, No later than July 6th at 10:00 p.m. Tickets will be paid for and picked up at the dinner. To reserve Dinners call Pat Bujnocki (216) 486-4943, if the answering machine picks up, leave a message and Pat will return the call.
