August 29, 2004 NewsletterI hope everyone that came out had enough to shoot. And if you didn't show up, shame on you! The weather co-operated again and it didn't rain until 15 minutes after all of the equipment was back in the shed. We had 37 shooters and 6 re-shoots for a total of 43 guns. Thanks to all who helped to set up and tear down. We had seven new shooters this month, Nicole DiSanto, Andy Mach, Mike Siebert, Edward J. Kay, Steve Anderson, Ron 'Reshoot' Iden and our Section Coordinator, Kyle Farris. The setup for our next match will be on Friday, September 10th starting at 4:00 PM. If you can't make it right at 4:00, come out as early as you can, we'll still be working. Then you are welcome to shoot one gun. Here's the remaining schedule for this summer at Crooked Creek.
Crooked Creek Conservation Club will be hosting a Friends of the NRA banquet on October 9, 2004. Tickets are $25.00. BBQ dinner at 3:00 PM followed by the auctions. Also, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM there will be various shooting events for you to try. Sign-up from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Events:
Here's the deal. We need help running the pistol match for this event.
